At Palma de Mallorca Airport you will be met by your ECT crew who will take you to your coach transfer. Any bikes arriving will loaded onto the bike transfer van(s).
On arriving to hotel, you will check-in and build bikes before exploring your surroundings.

Logistics
You are required to arrange your own travel to Majorca ✈
Ideally the entire group should book on to the same flight to/from the trip.
Airport [coach] transfers will be arranged for one single journey to/from the hotel.
There will also be [van] transfers for bicycles for those bringing their own bikes.
Climate & Kit
Majorca is well know for it’s warm sunshine and blue skies, however during the summer ‘shoulder’ seasons Majorca too can experience low pressure Mediterranean weather systems of cloud cover and some precipitation, so good idea to bring layers and shell jackets just in case.
A full kit list will be issued in your ‘Joining Instructions’ document after your application.
We will be glad to discuss any aspect of kit and your bike with you, please call us anytime with any questions.
This is a road bike trip.
Your bike should be well maintained and in good running order with suitable ‘road gears’ and brakes.
Majorca roads are generally fantastic but you should expect the occasional resurfacing works or rough patch in towns/villages so we do recommend strong [puncture resistant] tyres not lightweight [racing] tyres.
Gravel bikes are okay but we recommend to install narrower road tyres for the silky Majorca roads. If you fancy a day with some gravel, we recommend you pack both types of tyre to swap-out for your rides.
If you bring shimano Di2 (or similar), you are expected to fully understand the operation and recalibration of the system – including crash mode reset which can occur during transporting your bike.
There will be bike tools and some spares available during your week with us at your accommodation as well as bike cleaning facility. There are also be plenty of bike shops all around the island to help with more serious ‘fixes’ while out on the road and also great for some ‘merch’ 😀

Bike rental is your responsibility with the provider you choose, we [ect] do not engage in your contract with your chosen bike rental company.

During your week on Majorca you will be located central in the beautiful foothills of the ‘Serra de Tramuntana’.
From here, you will enjoy spectacular route options to all the best climbs, shorelines, historic towns and hidden corners of the island.
You will have choices of climb days, undulating days and flat days of various distances to explore and discover your own unique moments while cycling this spectacular island paradise.
